Brass-necked social worker robbed clients after confession

A SWINDLING social worker siphoned nearly £28,000 from the accounts of elderly and vulnerable people whose financial affairs she had been entrusted with.

And Jacqueline Powell, 56, continued her thieving for months after she confessed her crime to her boss at South Ayrshire Council.
