A HOPELESS dealer who thought he was delivering "hash" when it was in fact heroin has been jailed for over three years.
When police searched James Kennedy after stopping him in a street in Ayr they found four polythene bags of brown powder in his pockets.
He told them it was "hash" and that he was carrying it for someone.
