THE Quay Zone in Girvan celebrated it’s first birthday this weekend.
On Sunday, April 29 members of the community were invited to try out the fun pool and play zone for free.
There were also friendly class tasters and multi-sports in the studio zone from 11am until 3.45pm
Throughout the day aqua fit tasters, fun and giant inflatable sessions were on offer at the pool zone. On top of that there were synergy and spin taster classes available in the gym area.
The Quay Zone is a community leisure centre managed by South Carrick Community Leisure, a community organisation based in Girvan.
Helen Moreland, of The Quay Zone said: “We would like to thank everyone who has supported the Centre from our very valued customers to groups and funders to make it such a fabulous first year.”
Happy Birthday from the Carrick Herald team.
