Lochside Mission is looking for one hundred new friends.
The Christian Social Outreach Project and ministry of Ayr St Columba Church of Scotland, are launching their new‘Friends of Lochside’ appeal.
They are inviting South Ayrshire to support the valuable work with children, young people, families and vulnerable adults in North Ayr by donating at least £3 per month.
The Mission launch in 2012 was headed by Ayr St Columba’s Dylan Harper and led by a small team of part time staff and over 130 volunteers. Their work includes free meals and holiday activies for children, foodbank hubs and soup kitchens.
Dylan said:“Our work at Lochside is important and valuable to our community – the feedback we receive daily is testament to this. We’re inviting people to sign up to become our ‘friend’ and help support the continuation of the work.”
