TO CELEBRATE Year of Young People (YOYP) Girvan Academy are hosting a roller disco in the school.
YoYP 2018 aims to inspire Scotland through its young people, celebrating their achievements, valuing their contribution to communities and creating new opportunities for them to shine locally, nationally and globally.
Free roller discos for children aged 12 and over will take place at Girvan Academy this Thursday, February 8 from 3pm-3.45pm.
All the equipment will be provided.
YoYP 2018 activities and events are focusing on six themes that young people identified as most important for them as young Scots. They include:
Participation , education, health and wellbeing, equality and discrimination, enterprise and regeneration and culture.
