PEOPLE from across the community flocked to Struthers Primary School for a successful Macmillan coffee morning.
A wide range of mouthwatering cakes and treats were for sale along with tea and coffee.
The event raised £1023 for the charity, who help people with cancer and their families.
P7 pupils organised the coffee morning, which was attended by parents, grandparents, family and friends.
It was part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, which is the charity's biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. People from across the UK host their own coffee mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan. Last year alone they raised £29.5 million nationally and this year organisers are aiming to raise even more.
