TWO garages on Ayr's Craigie Road were targeted and gardening equipment worth a three figure sum stolen from each property.
The first incident is believed to have taken place between 1pm on Wednesday, August 2 and 9am on Friday, August 4. Between those dates someone has entered an insecure garage and stolen the items.
Another outbuilding on the same street was broken into between Sunday, July 2 and Saturday, August 5. It is believed these incidents may be linked due to the similar nature of the crimes.
Police are appealing for anyone with any information or who noticed something or someone acting suspiciously in the area at that time to get in touch via the non emergency number on 101.
