FANTASTIC fundraisers from Glenburn Primary presented a whopping £300 to Malawi.
Children from Primary one to seven took part in a citizenship project and raised the money for a charity which helps people living in poorer conditions in the third world country.
The whole school presented the cheque worth £300 to the Malawi representative who attended the school last Tuesday, May 2.
Glenburn is just one of the schools in South Ayrshire which understand the importance of links with Malawi.
They feel it is important to continue to build friendships with schools over there so that they can continue working together.
Hundreds of Scottish and Malawian NGOs and community groups are working together in dignified partnership to help improve education in Malawi.
School partnerships can enrich the quality of learning that takes place.
