A MISSING woman was last seen getting off the train at Ayr Train Station on Tuesday, April 26. 

Caron Findlay from Motherwell failed to return home after visiting relatives in the South of England. 

The 52-year-old was last seen at Glasgow Central Station at 6.15PM on Tuesday evening having previously contacted her family to say she had returned safely to Glasgow.

But she failed to return home to Motherwell and her family have not seen her since. 

Sergeant Allan Barnstaple of Motherwell Police Office, said: “It has now been established that Caron boarded a train for Ayr at 1900 hours from Glasgow Central Station and was seen getting off the train at Ayr railway station around 1955 hours.

"I would ask anyone who has seen Caron in Ayr or the surrounding area to contact us. I would also urge Caron herself to contact police as we want to make sure that she is safe and well."
