A77 from Maybole towards Minishant closed due to accident
REPORTS are coming in that there has been an accident on the A77 outside Maybole towards Minishant.
It is understood that traffic is being diverted to the coastal road as cars were backed up to Ayr North.
Traffic still not moving and three fire engines and about 10 police cars were at the scene but the Ayr Advertiser believes that some emergency services have left the scene as well as the ambulances.
It is hoped that the roads will be cleared soon.
